I originally tried it at f 16 hoping to get the clouds in focus too, so the layout would be more balanced and interesting. The clouds were too close in value to the sky, so it didn't work well. I chose this one for my worst shot since there is hardly any tonal value and the subject matter is all clumped together in the upper corner. Also there isn't too many interesting negative shapes. Its boring and provokes no emotion.
I really like your B/W images. They are strong with great contrast and tonal range. My favorite is the "Ten Feet" of your trees and striking shadows--very artistic!
