Melanie - Painting with light

This photo was made in a dark room since it won't stop raining.  There is a light sitting in the bottom of the vase to throw out the light through the holes.  I also used a flahlight and placed red and blue velum over it for added color to paint with and used a black curtain as my background.  It is a raw converted file using ISO 100, f 5, for one sec.  I also used a wireless remote to reduce blur.  The wireless setting option also allowed me to put the mirror up for a sharper photo.  The vase is actually a light tannish pink in color.  I loved the roughness and pattern when I bought it.  When looking around the house for something interesting, I saw it and thought it might make a good light painting.
