| ISO 100, f4.5, 1/80 sec. I'm not sure if anyone would find this interesting or not, but I was looking for a different angle. I took a photo of this columbine flower yesterday from the front and from the side and I liked those too, but the back is also unusual and I think it is pretty. In looking at old photos, I find that I am drawn to closeups, especially if they have vivid colors, interesting shapes, textures, and lines. The really close macro photography really excites me. I like seeing what we miss. The closer up the better. In high school I took photos through a microscope for a science project and I think that might have been the start of a love affair. Ha! (I hope this doesn't sound too sappy, but I have really loved looking at everyone's amazing photos for this class and find that I am so inspired by everyone and I am learning so much. What a wonderful class we have! And a great teacher who loves to share her knowledge! Thanks!) |
I like this photo. The colors are very beautiful. I think some petals of the flower are a little overexposed. Did you try multiple exposure or diffuser?
ReplyDeleteLove the background colors!
ReplyDeleteALWAYS photograph from EVERY angle. It's what moves you from merely 'looking' to finally 'seeing'. An important trait for a photographer. Also continue working with the same idea in a series, until you have exhausted ALL your ideas, and then continue.
