In looking at old photos, I find that I tend towards landscapes as a way to remind me of places I have been.  This is a new photo that I think has better compositon because of taking classes.  I also like to go in close on people's faces, telephoto is great because they aren't aware that you are taking their photos.  Weddings are a great place for that too.  Macro is also a favorite.  I would like to purchase a good macro lens one day.  I like seeing those little things that we overlook because they are so small.  So I will get as close as I can of flowers, insects, etc.  HDR is something new for me too.   The saturation of color and the images just pop and make me feel good.  I have only done a few of those and I want to improve.    Painting in light is a new discovery from class that I want to pursue more as well.  I used to take ones of those dead center shots.  I have learned so much and am so grateful.
