THAT"S REALLY FUN! Did you get weird 'stares' from people in the parking lot? :-) I like that you can still read the words and see the truck in the foreground. Also LOVE the blue color of the sky that allows the letters to stand out. Do you guys think Chuck zoomed from wide to telephoto or visa-a-versa? What do think about the 'tilt' of the horizon line? Would the image be more successful visually if the horizon line was level or does it matter? What do you think about the negative space in the foreground? I am wondering if adding a little kiss of light to the truck using Photoshop, would add to the image???? This is one of those concepts (one could say a gimmick) that invites you as the photographer to build upon. In my mind I can see a plethora of possibilities to develop this into a very interesting series of images.
The show was just letting out so there was just about 30 seconds with no people and cars. I had to jump out of the car and shoot. Earlier I had my tripod set up and the Lacey police cruised by real slow. I'll play with the image.
Love the colors! Looks like a cool advertising poster.
