I picked this photo because it seemed to meet many of the composition particulars we've discussed.  Overall though, I didn't find it excited me (thus, the following photo is included).  After taking the shot though I noticed the rocks (and shadows) on the left, plus the fence lines up in the top left corner.  Those two things were nice surprises.  I also liked the mixture of textures and red/blue/green color contrasts.
