The light makes this picture work. The shapes and lines the light creates on the straws create an interesting composition. Your choice of aperture and the diagonal lines create the illusion of deep space. For FUN, this might be one of those shots to try out the zoomming technique! I like the negative space in the Lime photo. The strong contrasted thin green curved line, the wider yellowish curved line, and then the various shapes inside the lime, created by the diagonal lines create strong visual interest. The shadows/highlights make an interesting texture. What could you have done to make a great picture extraordinary?
